Al Bataeh returned to training after a 4-day break granted by the team’s coach, Goran Tomic, following the team’s loss to Ajman in the ADNOC Professional League Championship. The training included physical training, tactical plans, and identifying the mistakes made by the team in previous matches. The team is expected to play two friendly matches on the 13th and 14th of this month, taking advantage of the break during which our national team will play two matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Qatar and Kyrgyzstan.
Al Bataeh breaks the lead partnership with Ajman
Al Bataeh succeeded in defeating Ajman by two goals to one in the matches of the eighth round of the U-23 Professional League Championship in the match that was held at Al Bataeh Club Stadium in Sharjah. With this victory, Al Bataeh succeeded in breaking the lead partnership with Ajman and jumped to first place with 16 points. The match was strong between the two sides as Alvaro Oliveira managed to score the lead goal in the 16th minute and Salem Tariq strengthened the lead in the 37th minute after which Ajman tried to return to the match by scoring a goal to reduce the difference in the 44th minute. In the second half, Ajman tried to score the equalizer with many attempts that were met by Al Bataeh’s defense. With this result, Al Bataeh topped the league with 16 points, followed by Al Wasl with 14 points and then Ajman in third place with 13 points.

Al Bataeh loses from Ajman
Al Bataeh team suffered a new loss, and this loss came from Ajman in the eighth round of the ADNOC Professional League Championship, with two goals to one. Al Bataeh scored the lead goal through Nicolas in the 39th minute of the first half, and the response came quickly from Ajman in the 41st minute with the equalizer. The two teams entered the second half cautiously, did many changes from the coaches, until Ajman’s second goal came in the 90th minute. With this loss, Al Bataeh’s balance froze at 4 points.
