Al-Bataeh achieved a precious victory over Al-Nasr with a score (2/0), which was sponsored by his Brazilian wing, Lawrence Du, during the confrontation that took place between them at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Sharjah, for the 25th round of the ADNOC Professional League, and with this result, Al-Bataeh put three new points, bringing his score to 21 points. In twelfth place, two points behind its rival, Dibba Al-Fujairah, while Al-Nasr’s balance stood at 24 points in ninth place.

It is considered the first victory for Al-Bataeh at Khalid Bin Mohammed Stadium, under the leadership of its national coach, Captain Moataz Abdullah, who took over the task to succeed Moroccan Saeed Chakhit, to return the team to the path of victories again, after the absence of 14 rounds, in which Al-Bataeh did not taste the taste of victory.

Al-Bataeh played the match differently from the previous matches, as he showed on the performance of his players the return of fighting spirit, teamwork and the desire to achieve victories, and his coach Moataz Abdullah made some adjustments to the starting line-up, as he pushed Saif Rashid from the start and he was always participating in the second session. He also included Hamad Al-Balushi instead of Muhammad Al-Shehhi, who appeared in the second half, while he relied on Issa Ahmed at the left back, instead of Abdullah Abbas, who was used by Moataz in the second session.

Brazilian Lawrence Du succeeded in decoding the Nasraoui defense in the 52nd and 80th minutes, to gift Al-Bataeh the three most expensive points this season, to revive the team’s hopes of staying in the professional league.
