Romanian coach Mirel Radoi said that he is excited to face Al Wasl in the ninth round of the ADNOC Pro League, and Radoi described Al Wasl during the pre-match press conference as a good team that sits at the top of the league.

Radoi revealed that he is aware of the atmosphere at Za’abeel because he played a lot in this stadium, and added: I know Al Wasl Stadium well and its strength lies in its fierce fans who do not stop encouraging throughout the 90 minutes without stopping, and their chanting often led Al Wasl to achieve victories.

“Al Wasl have the best attack in the league this season, the second best defense, and they play with balance in defense and attack, so they are in first place.

Radoi said that Al Wasl has not tasted the taste of loss so far for eight rounds, and he hoped that they would receive the honor of the first team to win against him, but he returned and stressed that this thing will not be achieved easily and that the match will not be easy.

He added: “Al Wasl plays a good image at home and revives possession of the ball and they have the ability to create chances against any team they play against.

Radoi revealed that his team had a stressful week after completing the Sharjah match on the physical and mental levels, due to the difficult matches they played against strong clubs with different tactical styles.

For his part, Ahmed AlZeyoudi, the left back of AlBataeh, revealed that their preparations for the Al Wasl match are in the language of an advanced stage, stressing that they are playing against a large team, which did not lead the bang out of thin air, considering at the same time that their team is no less technical value than Al Wasl team, compared to the levels it presented during the current season, revealing that their goal is to win or come out with a point at least.

AlZeyoudi said in the introductory press conference: “We aspire to give our best during the match, and we will work to implement the coach’s instructions and put them on the ground, and our confidence in ourselves is very great, because we have a distinguished group of players and strong that has proven its worth this season.”
