Al Bataeh coach Farhad Majidi, in his press conference for his team’s match against Al Ain in the first round of the ADNOC Pro League, said: “We will be playing against a very strong team, considered one of the best in the league and the Asian champions. We know it will be a difficult match, but I am very happy because we trained well and all the players were cooperative. I asked them to play bravely, and we can perform well against Al Ain.”

 

First team player and captain Abdulaziz Heikal said: “Our preparations were positive for the Al Ain match, and despite the strength of the match, we are ready for it.” Regarding the league draw and facing a team like Al Ain in our first match, he said: “The draw was fair and positive, especially since we will be facing a big team like Al Ain. A positive result will motivate us for the upcoming matches, despite the challenges. Our start this season will build on the positive end of last season. The team has technical stability, and we have goals that we hope to achieve with everyone’s cooperation.” He stated that the team’s coach is well-known, and everyone witnessed the work he did last season. He added: “We will continue this work this season with results and enjoyment in our performance with Captain Farhad.”
