The Croatian coach of Al Bataeh team, Goran Tomic, spoke in the press conference for the Al Bataeh and Khorfakkan match about his team’s preparations, saying: “We are certainly not in a good position and we lost matches in the last minutes due to bad luck. I believe that based on performance, we deserve better results, but this is football and we have to accept it.” Regarding the Khorfakkan match, he said: “The match is important, especially since it is on our home ground and we need to break the series of defeats. I feel that the team is going through a positive state and the players will certainly do their best to achieve a positive result.” When asked about the team’s performance that does not reflect the results, he said: “It is painful to do your best and lose in the last minutes. We have to learn from these mistakes.”

The Uzbek team player, Aziz Ganiev, spoke about the Khorfakkan match and described it as an important match with a good team. “Our preparations are good,” he said. “The technical staff prepared appropriately for this match. All my fellow players are ready to perform well and achieve a positive result.” Ganiev said that there were several matches in which we performed well and some mistakes caused us to miss points. Regarding Khorfakkan, he said: “A good team.” With a new coach they will have a strong reaction but we will fight to get a positive result
