Pre match Press conference for the match between AlBataeh and alwasl.

Croatian coach Goran Tomić, the head of AlBataeh football team, stressed the difficulty of the match against AlWasl, highlighting their opponent’s status as league leaders and their exceptional season performance at all levels. He explained their high-skilled players would make the task challenging.

Tomić added during the pre match press conference:

“Our team has also been performing remarkably well this season and has shown the capability to face strong teams. We are determined to return with all three points from this match. We have several absences due to accumulated yellow cards and the suspension of Farouq in the Sharjah match, but I am confident in the readiness of all other players for this game.”

He continued:

“We’ve faced teams of similar strength to AlWasl this season, like Shabab AlAhli and AlJazira, and the team has delivered outstanding performances in these matches. However, to surpass these clubs, luck must accompany readiness from all aspects.”

On his part, goalkeeper Darwish Mohammed described the match against Al Wasl as crucial, considering it’s played on their home turf and amidst their fans, besides facing the league leaders. He affirmed their commitment to giving their best for a positive outcome.

During the pre-match press conference, he continued:

“Nothing is impossible in football, and anything can happen on the field. We will do our best and give everything we have to achieve a positive result.”

He continued:

“I would like to take this opportunity to praise my teammate Rashid for his excellent performance in the previous match against Sharjah. It’s not surprising as he is an outstanding goalkeeper, and I hope he gets more opportunities to participate in upcoming matches.”
