Al Bataeh loses its match against Al Ain

Al Bataeh team lost its match against Al Ain by two goals to one, which came in the fifth round of the ADNOC Professional League Championship, which was held at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain. The first half ended in a positive draw with a goal, as Al Ain took the lead with a goal, then Ahmed Al Zeyoudi equalized with a shot from outside the penalty area. In the second half, the match was balanced between the two teams, and Al Ain managed to score the second goal in the 68th minute. Al Bataeh tried to remedy the situation by scoring the equalizer with changes made by the team coach Farhad Majidi by bringing in Saud Khalil and Harouna. It is worth noting that the match witnessed the absence of the team’s top scorer, the Cameroonian Anatoli. After the match, the Al Bataeh coach stated in the press conference that the result was unfair, as his players played a great match and prevented Al Ain from creating chances in the match, and his players missed many chances. He said, “I thanked them in the locker room, and I trust them a lot.” When asked about strengthening the team’s ranks, he stated that he trusts the current group and informed the club’s management of that, and that there are young players who have a future awaiting them, and it is expected that they will benefit from them in the national team, such as Saud Khalil.
