A positive draw for Al-Bataeh against Al-Dhafra

The positive tie (1/1) settled the Al-Bataeh confrontation against Al-Dhafra, which took place at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Sharjah, for the account of the 19th round of the ADNOC Professional League, to raise Al-Bataeh to 17 points, while Al-Dhafra’s balance became 8 points.

Al Dhafra team took the initiative to score through Brazilian Thiago Luonco in the 43rd minute, and Al Bataeh equalized through its Malian player Siko Baba in the 72nd minute.

Al-Bataeh completed the match with ten players, after his right-back, Fahd Sabeel, was sent off at the end of the first half, and Al-Dhafra played minus the ranks in the last quarter of an hour after expelling his player Khaled Ali, who received the second yellow card because of his attempt to obtain a penalty kick by acting.

Al-Bataeh was close to settling the match in his favor through real opportunities for his players in front of Al-Dhafra goal, but they were missed amid everyone’s surprise.

Al-Bataeh Club celebrated the inauguration of the new corporate identity on the sidelines of the match, through a mini celebration between halftime, which included popular chants in which a number of children participated.
