Al Bataeh team lost its match against Kalba by three goals to nothing in the fifth round of the ADNOC Professional League. Al Bataeh imposed its control over the match and presented one of its best recent matches, but it was unable to score goals as the opportunities were strangely lost from under the feet of its players. Kalba took advantage of the few opportunities that were available to it in the match and scored from individual errors in positioning. In the press conference that followed the match, Al Bataeh coach described football as brutal and cruel and that his team gave everything it had in the match but was unable to score.
