Al Bataeh lost their match in the ADNOC Professional League Championship against Sharjah by two goals to nothing in the fourth round. The match was held at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium. Al Bataeh coach attended with a lineup consisting of Ibrahim Issa, Denny Borges, Mohammed Ahmed, Rafael, Saeed Juma, Maliki, Aziz Ganiev, Paulinho, Mohammed Pele, Anatol and Mohammed Rashid. The goals came in the second half from a penalty kick after a handball was called against Mohammed Ahmed. The second came a minute later as Al Bataeh tried to return to the match with the changes made by Goran by bringing in Alvaro and Ahmed Khalil, but the match ended with this result as Al Bataeh’s tally froze at 4 points in eighth place.
