Mohamed Ahmed, the center back of the first football team at AlBataeh FC, stressed the need to reach the highest degree of technical and physical readiness before playing the first match in the ADNOC Pro League against AlWahda, and said during the pre match press conference: It is necessary to reach the highest stages of preparation at the beginning of the season, and although we did not train much in the country because of the short time, but we are determined to give our best in the AlWahda match in order to come out with the expected result.
He added: “We will try as much as possible to keep the ball between our feet, and if we can’t, we will try to play the way the coach wants and close the doors to the opponent, and my teammates are ready in all respects to give their best and contribute to achieving a positive result.
The former Al Ain player revealed that the current season is different from the previous one, stressing at the same time their ability to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the management and all fans of Al Bataeh Club.
Mohammed Ahmed described his new career with Al Bataeh Club as a challenge for him to prove his worth, he added: “Everyone knows that I spent years at Al Ain Club, and I achieved many championships with them, and I admit that I did not provide the levels expected of me during recent years due to injuries or the club’s reliance on professional players in the same position in which I play, but I promise to give my best with Al Bataeh, to push the club’s career forward and my desire to return to the squad of the national team.”
