In a friendly experience of heavy caliber, Al-Bataeh lost his second preparatory experience to Sharjah 1-0, during the confrontation that took place between them in Austria, the headquarters of the two teams’ camp in preparation for the new football season.

The technical director of Al-Bataeh, Merle Radwi, pushed a squad consisting of: Zayed Al-Hammadi, Denny Burgess, Petros Bommal, Muhammad Ahmed, Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Muhammad Rashid Al-Hammadi, Issa Ahmed, Hamad Al-Balushi, Siko Baba, Abdullah Al-Naqbi and Anatol Abang, while Ibrahim Issa also participated as a substitute. For Zayed Al-Hammadi, Radwi Rashad Muhair replaced Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Hamad Al-Balushi came out, Meliki replaced him, and the second session witnessed the exit of Ibrahim Issa and the entry of Rashid Abdullah. Al-Bataeh will play a third preparatory match against the Qatari Al-Ahly team on August 3, while he will conclude his matches on August 8 before returning to the country to continue preparing for the next edition of the Andoc Professional League.
