Romanian Radui, coach of Al-Bataeh

Al-Bataeh Football Company announced that it has signed a contract with the Romanian coach, Merle Radoi, to lead the first team during the new football season, which begins next August.

Radoi began his coaching career in 2015 when he led Steaua Bucharest, then worked as a sports director for the Romanian Olympic team, then as its technical director, before taking over the leadership of the first Romanian national team, then the Universitatea Craiova club in his country, and finally the Saudi club Al-Tai.

It is noteworthy that Radoi (42 years) began his professional career as a “player” in the Arab stadiums with Al Hilal Saudi Arabia in the 2009-2011 season, coming from Steaua Bucharest club, and achieved with him the league title twice and the Crown Prince Cup three times in a row, before moving after that to Al Ain UAE. And from him to his countryman Al-Ahly and finally the Qatari Arab.

Radoi, who played 67 international matches, won three Romanian league titles with Steaua Bucharest, two titles with Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, and the same with Al-Ahly of the Emirates.
